If your laptop or PC has both HDMI-IN and HDMI-OUT port functionality, then absolutely. The good news is that most new-age laptops and PCS have this functionality – so it is quite rare to come across this issue.
However, if for any reason you have a laptop or PC that does not have this, do not worry. The best possible way to go is to use your web browser to log in to your favorite subscriptions, bookmark them, and push play after selecting the fullscreen option.
If you do not want to do that however, simply follow the easy guide below to MIRROR your laptop, PC or Mac onto your TV screen.
How To Mirror the Fire Stick onto Your TV Screen
On your Amazon Remote Control.
STEP 1 – While the Firestick is still Connected to your TV, Press and hold the HOME button
STEP 2 – Select MIRRORING from the menu. It will show you a notification that says, “While this screen is open, guest devices can wireless mirror their display to: [the name of user]’s Fire Stick.” This will make makes your Firestick discoverable for your PC.
On your Laptop or PC
STEP 3 – Ensure your Laptop or PC is connected to the same home wireless network as your TV.
STEP 4 – Click the NOTIFICATIONS icon on the bottom right corner of your taskbar on your screen, and expand.
STEP 5 – Then select your Firestick from the list and click ‘Connect‘.
STEP 6 – On the list of available devices, you should see the Firestick. Click on it
STEP 7 – You should now see your PC screen mirrored on the TV to which you have connected the Firestick.
STEP 8 – Navigate to SETTINGS – SYSTEM – DISPLAY to change the resolution and scale the screen as you see fit.
Now you are all set up and ready to enjoy your favourite streaming app.
